1) My grandma likes to forward MMS to multiple contacts, i am one of those contacts... unfortunately. Some of her contacts are silly enough to reply to her MMS, and everyone in the forwarded list receives it.. including me. Not only are these messages not for me, it's annoying. If I wasn't on an unlimited MMS plan (like a prepaid plan), I'd be paying out of pocket for these MMS, and I'm not even getting a picture for it, instead.. a small sample of text that an SMS could do better! :/

2) I receive a phone call from a new number just about every week. These are impossible to block, because I will receive a call from a new number the following week.

3) Tmobile may have already done something about this, but I was once receiving spam text messages sent from an email address (e.g. @himen.com, @esteban.com) that originated from China.. they were also quite lewd. These messages cannot be blocked because they are seen as an "invalid number". When I contacted Tmobile, the rep said to reply "STOP", but this is just stupid... doing this literally lets the spammer know they just sunk my battleship.

Can't help with the mms (or any of your issues I'm afraid) but I think by law sending STOP should stop the texts but seeing as you're dealing with China..... Maybe @miketd can help?

No one in China sending spam is going to care about stopping.

I tried that stupid GoSMS app - got spammed by Go - put a block on the source - got more spam from Go saying that I must have accidentally blocked them.

Maybe try Textra, see if it will blacklist the crapola?

Textra will let you turn off using MMS for group messages. Your nana would have to try it though.

If someone was getting MMS and SMS from China, they'd likely see it as +86 <something>

"@himen.com, @esteban.com" those are from the internet. esteban dot com is United States, and himen dot com is Switzerland, but is possibly registered to a Chinese company, Guangzhou Daina Trading Company Limited. Senders' addresses can easily be spoofed anyway, to make them appear they're coming from any address they like, which is something spammers will often do.

If the "quite lewd" are in Chinese, that would be a giveaway.
