Root How do I remove bloatware after a temp root

Although you need root access to remove system apps, you can actually now do this without rooting. Rooting will not allow OTA updates.

What I will suggest is simpler.

1) Download 19/Nov r14: VISIONary + one click root - Android @ MoDaCo

2) In that app apply temp root (Lost at reboot)

3) Download titanium backup

4) In titanium, go to the Backup / restore tab. Find tehapps individually and press them to uninstall.

5) Reboot.

Simple. No warranty voided. No Recovery changed. OTA not affected.

I used this method but no apps are showing up on that titanium, cant even find anywhere that shows any app or how to remove, I used the temp root option and titanium back up which i still cant figure out why I had to use it :/

I am a root virgin and this is a brand new desire, came today and its running the latest 2.2 and its orange locked.

I actually wrote a guide like this.

If you click my name, search for threads by me, you will see one called "how to easily remove system apps"

You realise that you have to reboot into custom recovery and be fully rooted for this.

Temp root titanium doesn't work for everyone. If you reboot after, the apps come back for many.

This is because of the securities flag which doesn't allow system apps to be uninstalled whilst android is running.

If titanium reboots after each uninstall,i it maybe will work.

In titanium you have to go to the backup restore tab.
