How do I remove preinstalled stuff on the Droid 2? Specifically things like Skype and Blockbuster and stuff like that. Is there a list of what's safe to remove and initial customizations?
It looks like they are part of the ROM then which is a bit cheeky in my book.
You could try moving your apps to the memory card and try removing them that way. Just move the ones you want to delete. It may work...then again it may not.
The only way to properly remove them is to root the phone. Then simply move them to the SD Card to back-up; you don't want to delete them for the reason below.
If and when the phone is rooted, keep in mind that just like the Droid X when updating the phone it will require one or more of the apps to be installed or it will fail.
