Help How do I remove random sounds from playlists?

I have music on my Galaxy S2 Skyrocket and I use PowerAMP to listen to the music, but when I download an app the music and sounds from the app go right to PowerAMP and mixed in with all on my music. Is there any way to prevent this from happening? Does deleting it from PowerAMP do anything to the app itself (such as no more sounds)? Thanks.

Use a file explorer to create a file called .nomedia in the folders that you don't want the music app to pick up music, even works for doing the gallery picking up unwanted folders.

Be careful though as the logic also apples to all sub folders of the .nomedia

In PowerAmp, go to...

Menu > Settings > Music Folders > Select only the folders that contain your music.

Hope this helps. :D
