How do I remove stock SMS dock widget notification?

[PistolSlap]

Okay, so I want to delete stock text message notifications.

I know how to disable this one up top here, through the 'Notification Settings' dialog:

But I can't seem to disable this one in the bottom here no matter what I do. I still want the widget, so I can access my messages, I just don't want the number notification telling me how many unread messages I have.

Any ideas?

That's not possible

Not possible unless you replace the launcher.

You download a replacement home launcher app, like Holo launcher.
