Help how do i remove telstra applications from desire

Hi i just got a htc desire locked to telstra (what a drag but spose most carries a fooked ) i have played around with the phone and think its not bad but i would like to get rid of the telstra apps on the phone, also i would like to know if i can also delete the app when u slide left or right, want to have a wallpaper instead of all the other shit , ive cleared o spot but others i have no idea what to do , acircuit is a wallpaper i want to use okies cheers

You would need to root to remove system apps. I have a guide for that once rooted.

What apps slide left or right? Do you mean homescreens widgets? Long press and drag to the waste bin that appears.

If the answer for question 2 is correct, please get used to.your phone for a while before further investigating the answer.to question1
