The lack of the option to uninstall usually means that it a system app and you must root to remove it. Is your objection to the app that you want to free up some space or that it causes problems?
You should be able to simply disable and/or hide it.
actually this is a virus which i mistakenly installed
nope never rooted or modified but u are correct but i downloaded the apk from a website which i rechecked turned out to be a phishing oneLooks like it's this app:-
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.korosoft.simplenotepad.android
Simple Notepad by Korosoft shouldn't be installed as a system app on a OnePlus One AFAIK.
Has this phone been rooted and/or modified?
i think it is so let me try what u saidIs it set as an administrator? I think you need to remove it from there before you uninstall it. If it gives you problems removing admin rights, reboot into safe mode.

Good to here. I killed the links so someone else doesn't inadvertently install the app.Guys Thank you I removed it. I took its administrative rights and then uninstalled it.
OK BossYou might want to do some damage control by changing password for accounts you've used since the hacked app was installed. No telling what it was doing in the background.
Thank you! This worked.Did you get this from the Play store or did you get it someplace else?
