How do I remove this notification?

Hello,

I have a T-Mobile cell phone running Android 10. At the top of my home screen is a notification that new app updates are available, and it won't go away. This notification appears even when there are no app updates available. How can I remove this notification from my home screen?

maybe tap the cog wheel icon in the top left of the notification. it says android setup.......is the phone setup with google?

What happens if you do connect to WiFi?

Reboot the phone?

Find out what app is producing that notification by a long press on the notification then clear that app's cache?

All just guesses I'm afraid: I've never seen something like that. It almost looks like a system update message except it says "apps" (something your carrierhas messed with?).
