Help How do I replace the screen of my Samsung Galaxy Indulge?

The phone is working fine but the screen is cracked.
I can buy a new screen for $40 and I rather replace it myself instead of paying $50 more for repair.

Its not that hard to replace a screen you can do it yourself by opening the phone. I had opened the phone before by completely, just make sure you have the right screw driver size for the screws.

And if it's your fisrt time opening electronics, make sure to have a pencil and paper handy. I am saying pencil instead of pen to minimize static electricity. The paper so you can write down where all those screws come from, what part was where, etcetera ... it shouldn't be hard to figure out, but you can seldom be too cautious when messing with your precious electronics!

Egg cartons are good too. I keep a couple on my electronics bench just for that purpose. I usually start in the upper L compartment, and go L to R, then to the second row L to R in order. That way when I put it back together, I just go in reverse. And hopefully, there aren't any screws or other parts left over when you are done! ;) Good luck!

Same principle works on rebuilding a carburetor as well! or anything else for that matter!

:D

Screws don't bother me so much (well if it is my stuff) long as it fits together and works.

I disassembled the phone and was ready to put the new LCD but there is no adhesive on the LCD! It doesn't hold!
What should I do?

I have the same issue, in that I have to replace my glass. Please pass along any know you have gained. Did you ever find a video or step by step instructions?

:( Sorry to hear that...
You'd think they would put a warning about that in the digitizer's information page...
tsk tsk tsk.
I wish you luck, though.
