Help How do I save and app to install on a replacement DI?

I am getting my replacement DI on Friday to replace my power button issue, I have an app I am unable to find in the market place called videobox where I could download and save you tube videos to watch later or show friends without streaming them again. I would like to save the file from my current phone and put it on my new phone.
I have my phone rooted but I am a windows mobile guy so the Android is a learning curve for me.

Okay I got it I guess reading many post in many places really helps me, I found Titanium back up, I was able to pull the apk files out and even share them with a friend.
