Help How do I select a custom ring tone?? LG P350

I have rung the LG help line (he sent me here) and had a search through this site, all answers I found were not specific to the P350 and haven't helped.

I have created specific folders on my sd card (ie. media/audio/notifications for sms tones)and still cannot figure out how to use the files I have downloaded for my ring tone and msg alert tone.

I can find the files on the sd card (through think free) but when I go into settings, sound, phone ringtone or notification ringtone only the tones which are preloaded are listed.

Any help? The files are all mp3 if that makes a difference

Make one folder named: media
In that folder make two folders named: audio and Video
In the audio folder make two folders: notifications and ringtones

Delete the other folders you made.

What did you use to make the tones. I used Ringtone Architect, no problem at all for me. It saved them and I have never had a problem finding them in my settings.

Put the song/mp3 in mnt/sdcard/bluetooth/music
Open the Music app, look for your file
When you tap it, It will play, Pause it and press Menu button, tap "Use As Ringtone"
