Help How do I sort apps?

I have the Vodafone Smart Grand 6, which is using Android Lollipop.

The apps in the app drawer (I choose not to keep any apps in my home screens) are all organized alphabetically. How do I grab the icons and sort them the way I want to? I tried looking for an option everywhere, but there's nothing.

Any advice?

Are you using the stock launcher? You should be able to long- press on the apps you want, and drag to the screen / desktop. I use Nova launcher which works that way.

Yep, I'm using the stock one. I'm aware that you can drag app icons to the main screens, but I wanna sort apps inside the app drawer. Plus, I'd rather keep my home screen clean, so that's why I keep apps inside the app drawer.

This is likely a China phone, Chinese OEM, many carrier house brand devices are. You might not be able to sort the apps in the app drawer, probably alphabetical only and that's it with the stock firmware and launcher.

Where in the settings for the Nova launcher is the option to sort apps the way I want to? Yes, you can sort the icons the way you want to in the home screens, but not in the app drawer screens. How do I do it? :/

The best you'll get is goto Nova, settings, app & widget drawers, scroll down to drawer groups, hide apps then it will keep only those in you app drawer
