How Do I Straighten Out google passwords

I have a bunch of "google" passwords. Each time I try to figure out what's happening it doesn't like the "current" password. I make a new one but the next time I get on it want the "old" password. And none of the passwords now work from Outlook,

I find google ids/gmail addresses/accounts to be a confusing mess.

How do I check and/or change the gmail password?

Thank you ocnbrze. I did that but it shows only the accounts.google password. That's now clear - though I don't know why I ever need to use that id. I don't do anything with google on the computer.
What I needed to straighten out is the Gmail password situation. And that accounts.google does not show anything for Gmail.

your gmail password are your google account password. you change your account password, but then your gmail password will change to that as well. they are one in the same.

I have my google accounts password working but it is NOT the password for gmail. I changed the password in Outlook Email Accounts to that same password and it does not work for logging onto the incoming mail server nor for sending email via that user name (gmail account).

why not use the gmail app? why use outlook for gmail? have you tried your google acct password for gmail. i never heard of having those two be different. if you change one, it should change the other.

cache cleared - did not help. I do use the phone Gmail app but I was trying to test why I wasn't getting emails (I have another thread here for that) and checking the password. Both still don't work.
