How do I take a screenshot on my Centura?

I thought all I had to do was press the power button and the down volume to take a screenshot, but it's not working........ so maybe I have it wrong. How do you do it?

I've done it before but obviously forgot how.

Don't you have to hold down the home and power buttons on Samsung handsets?

Yup...on Centura, volume down + power buttons simultaneously--press & hold down, till it makes the camera shutter sound, and shows 'Saving Screenshot'.

A friend has one of the Galaxy S's, and it's different, but don't recall how it's done on hers.
