Help how do I take screenshots without installing Android SDK?

I have a Samsung GT-S5830 Galaxy Ace, with Android version 2.2.1

I keep accidentally taking screenshots, when I don't intend to.
Somehow, I hit some keys that tell my android to take a screenshot.

However, when I actually want to take a screenshot, I don't know how to!

I've searched for "taking screenshots on Android" and all the results point to cumbersome processes, downloading and istalling Andoird SDK, blah blah blah.

But my phone is already capable of taking screenshots. I know because it is always accidentally taking them, and then storing them in a file called "screenshots".

I shouldn't need to go and download SDK.

I should be able to already do it, with just the flick of a key or two.

But which keys?

2 step process:
1: Press the right soft key (back button)
2: While holding step one, press the center button (physical key)
You should hear a sound and get the message. No extra software required.

That's it! :)

thanks...that's exactly what I was looking before
now I can understand how I was accidentally taking screen shots when I wasn't trying to
