How do I tell if a file is on my local storage or the SD card?

I have a Motorola G7 Power phone. It only has 32 GB of internal storage. I'm trying to figure out how to move pics and videos to the SD card. But when I open any file manager, it only shows I have one storage location that has the 32 GB free. I can't find a file manager that allows me to see both the internal storage and the SD card. The SD card was formatted as phone storage.

If the SD card was formatted as phone storage, meaning internal, it means that's the only storage you have available. You should have just inserted the card as external storage, because now it's encrypted.

yep when you use the sd card as internal(phone) then that is the only source of storage. you can't both use it as phone and as an external storage. it is one or the other. i never really recommend you use the card as internal storage as it wears the card out faster and you run the risk of it getting corrupted.
