Hello. My iphone was stolen. So I bought an android today and I want to transfer my contacts. Problem is, every solution I've read requires my iPhone, but mine was stolen.

I do, however have my phone backed up to my laptop. Is there away to transfer contacts from backup itunes backup files?

thanks.

If you have a Samsung phone, install Kies onto your computer and run it, and connect your phone. It will detect that you have an iPhone backup and ask you if you want to import data from it into your new phone. This only works for Samsung phones.

Hey,

Same question: my iphone 4 was stolen. I ordered Nexus 4. I do have a backup on my computer. Pictures and video easy to copy. My calendar was synchronized with google - no problems here. My problems (from the most important) are: contacts, notes, pdf files in iBook, history and favorite places in TomTom. Any ideas/suggestions would be highly appreciated!

Thanks,

You can use This Phone to Phone Contact transfer to transfer contact between Android to iPhone,or from computer to iPhone/Android.
One Click to Transfer Data from Phone to Phone

With one click, you can directly transfer data between two phones,no matter Android phone (HTC, Samsung, etc.), Symbian phone (Nokia, Motorola, etc.) or iOS phone (iPhone 5, iPhone 4S, etc).

Maybe because neither the OP, or any of the other iPhone users who posted asking about a solution, mentioned anything about using Gmail? The topic is about importing from iTunes/iCloud to Android.
Gmail and facebook can save and backup mobile phone contacts .You can log into Gmail or facebook, then sync android phone contacts ,next export Gmail or facebook contacts to iPhone.

Once again, the topic is about importing from iTunes/iCloud to Android with no iPhone available.

It's been said often enough, so please ensure that any further suggestions comply with these criteria. Failure to do so will only confuse anyone seeking a solution, therefore such posts will be deleted as off-topic.
