How do I transfer music downloads, pics etc to my sd card? Have android 4.0.4

My phone memory is almost completely full and I'm having a difficult time figuring out how to transfer files to my sd card, please help!

Any file manager app, like ES File Explorer or Total Commander. (I prefer TC because in landscape mode you get 2 separate windows. It's like having 2 copies of Computer open in Windows.) Just copy from internal, paste to external and, if nothing went wrong, delete from internal. (You can move rather than copy/delete but, just like in any other operating system, if something goes wrong, you can lose the file.)

To piggy back of rukbat before doing anything with your device I would suggest that you back up your internal SDCARD to your computer or another storage solution. For Help backing up your SDCARD to your computer you may want to give this thread a look:

cricket samsung sch-r740c..can i download my music from muve music on my phone to my home pc..is it even possible after i sync my phone to pc
