how do i transfer pics onto my SD card from my comp?

how do you put ringtones on the SD card exactly from the computer?


can someone explain to me please in step by step instructions im completely new to this droid thing, is there anyway to separate them like folders? kinda like the BB

meaning like..
ringtones
pictures
videos
etc..

• Drag down the USB icon on the notification tab
• Click Mount
• Windows will recognize this as a removable disk.

ya i did that but how can you seperate them in folders??

Does it matter where the new folder is? I see LOST.DIR and dcim, should I make a new one outside of those?

I made a folder "RINGTONES" for my mp3 ringtones and it works. Try naming your folder "PICTURES". BTW not sure if the names have to be in caps.

ok but where did you put the folders??

DCIM, LOST.DIR, albumthumbs??

I believe the new folders just go in the root directory of the card, the same directory as DCIM, LOST.DIR, albumthumbs, etc

Just take out ur sdcard and put it into your computer then run double twist . Presto just sync

i made a few folders where you said too and nothing comes up

where do i look for the ringtones on the phone? because there not coming up under settings>sounds & display> notification ringtone or phone ringtone...
