Help How do I turn off USB Debugging

I have the Samsung Mesmerize. I know it was not in USB debugging mode when I first got the phone. I pulgged into my computer today and noticed that it is now on. I was playing around with my phone and may have turned it on some how. The only thing is that I can't get it to turn off. Both when my phone is plugged in to the computer and when it is unplugged the USB Debugging area is grayed-out. Please help

It has happened to me before as well, except in reverse. (I wanted debug on but the option was greyed out).

The only way I got it fixed was a factory wipe when they installed the EE19 update.

Once you root your phone, a lot of apps that run with root access also want to run with debug on.

If you're running stock, with no apps other than market/amazon apps, there probably isn't a need for debug on.

It doesn't affect the phone's operation one way or the other.
