hi friends,

I searched a lot and got many ROM which are made for the Branded Android devices.. like LG, Samsung devices.. My problem is I have a Android device which has no name.. also I am newbie to decide which ROM can fit my device which is running 2.3.4 .. I get scared that I will brick my Chinese device. Flashing is easy in Android but I fail to decide which ROM will work for me..

My device is CyberNav Mini Android 2.3.4

Hi Nitin,

I can't answer your question, but you are right to be cautious. ROMs are device-specific, so you do need one that is built for your phone model.

With those specs (not so different from my aging HTC Desire) it's quite possible that the phone will perform better with Gingerbread than it would with ICS, so I would advise you not to worry too much if nobody knows of a suitable ROM. But we should see whether anyone has the answer you are looking for. :)

I highly doubt anyone has spent time developing a ROM for a GPS unit. You can search the xda site to see if anyone has created a rom for this device but I am going to put my money on that you won't find anything. As Hadron said, with those specs you are probably better off on Gingerbread.

You only hope is to scour the internet and see if anyone has created a ROM for it. But I would be really cautious in anything you try and flash.
