Help How do I upgrade to 2.3.6?

I'm still on 2.3.3, and whenever I attempt to update through Kies or OTA it just says I already have the latest firmware or no updates available.

My sister has the same phone and her's came with 2.3.6 already on it.

Is it to do with the network I'm on (Orange)?
Sister's on Talk Mobile.

How can I get 2.3.6?
It's driving me insane not being able to get a new OS on my phone!

It depends on the carrier if your phone is locked to the carrier, otherwise you can upgrade through Kies or use Odin to flash the new upgrade into the phone yourself.

as stated above the carrier makes the call,
say i have the transform ultra that is on both boost AND sprint.
Sprint could get 2.3.6 but boost hasnt released 2.3.6 yet so it still has 2.3.4 its all a waiting game man DX
