Help How do I view my pictures on my phone when plugged into my PC?

When I plugged in my SGS2 into my PC, I used to be able to view all my pictures. However, when I plug my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 into my PC, I can't view my picture's. It's a generic Icon..

Why not?

and

How do I view them?

Thanks in advance

Attached is a screen capture of what I am referring to...

Just double-click it, it'll open in Windows picture viewer.

If you have no luck with that, drag the notification bar down on the phone and tap the 'connected as a media device' message. That'll take you to a screen where you can swap between 'media device' mode and 'camera' mode - try whichever mode isn't selected.

Thanks!
But I've done this... Maybe I should be a little more clearer. When you plug in the phone, you navigate to the folder with the pictures.. Once there, you should be able to view ALL the picture's as normal, with out having to open each one individually. But instead, ALL the pictures display as the icon in my original post. If I plug another phone in, and navigate to the picture folder, ALL the pictures here display as pictures of what they are, which helps when you have a ton of them to go through.
