so. i just used my early upgrade this past february to go from the samsung moment to the Eve Shift 4g.

now i want the 3vo and i DONT want to pay $550 for it. since i just upgraded 6 months ago i am sure i am not eligible for any kind of promotions. can anyone think of a way i can NOT have to pay full retail for this phone?

i would buy it and sell my shift but there are 2 small scratches on the screen, barely noticable, but still there.

any ideas will be much appriciated!!!

You used up your upgrade, it seems the choices are apparent to you, what you need to do to obtain an Evo 3D. If you need to come up with money to buy the Evo 3D, consider doing some extra work on the side to pay for it. That would seem to be your best option.

yeahhh... after talking to a non corporate store (whom actually suggested buying a broken one and committing insurance fraud) i think i will have to wait till they drop in price or just wait till the come out with something that i am blown away by more than the price tag

Do what I did, add a line and bring someone over to your account on your old phone, add the e3d to the new line, go home and swap the phones to the right number, split your bill with your new friend. Win, win, win.

I gave my Mom my evo 4G so she saved $200 on a new phone, and she pays me the same thing she paid on her old account and she's happy. I'm happy because I got the e3d for the discount price.
