Root How do we return to full stock?

I have rooted and installed google now, but now I am wondering how I return to complete stock. I have factory reseted, but google now is still installed and the phone still seems to be rooted. I have stock recovery. This isn't urgent, just wondering, thanks!

The best and easiest way is to make a backup using cwm recovery before making any changes to the device and save that backup forever. Then, when you want to RTS, you flash that and Odin the stock recovery and yer done. Now you have to delete all the stuff you installed. Factory reset does not uninstall system apps, only data/apps.

Well usually I do make cwm recoveries, but this time i didn't. Now Im running the stock rom plus. I have made a recovery, but not of the original rom. Is there any way for someone to share their back up with me with out them giving me their personal data and what not?
Thanks for the reply!

One way you can do it is to open the zip of google now and then go find the correct path in system.

With the new update I want to return to factory stock. Anyone have any ideas, because I cant flash the system.tar through Odin.
Thanks

Ok, this is what I've tried so far: stock Rom plus, no go. Super stock, no go. Tried with stock recovery, no go. Tried with cwm, no go. I'm stumped.

I've deleted kies and drivers and reinstalled with no help. I wonder if I've somehow corrupted my phones partition since I can't seem to do a backup either.
