Help How do you backup?

I know you can back up an iphone with Itunes. How do you back up the Galaxy?

unrooted - Kies (download the software from samsung website)

rooted - titanium and CWM

from wat ive heard of Kies, it does a decent job of backing up but almost always messes u up when it comes to the important part, restoring backups, so i would never trust that.. if ur really wanting to do a solid backup of ur phone, ur gonna have to root. thats android, i guess or samsung. but once ur rooted, like Sydney99 says, those two apps are killer

Contacts/calendar - google sync.
Media - Kies.

I haven't had to restore from a Kies backup so don't know how it performs, but google sync works great for contacts and calendar
