How do you clear market seaches?

I have figured out how to clear what I search out on maps by deleting my maps updates, but I haven't come across a way to clear up my market searches. And no its not about porn, but I just hate anyone picking up my phone and asking me questions about why I look this and that up? If anyone can help, please do so. I luckly and thankfully found a third party app to clear that dreadful automatic favorites/frequently called list yesterday. I cherish my privacy.

i can't help you with your problem, i still haven't figured out how to clear the market search other. but could you share the app to clear the frequently called list?

I most certainly can help you out crankerchick. This guy who goes by Roys posted this program he wrote in the support and troubleshooting section in the motorola droid forum, but I would imagine it works on any android phone. the link you need to down load on your pc is Download RoyFrequentlyCalledRemover.apk from Sendspace.com - send big files the easy way.
Download that right on your desktop or wherever you keep you download. Don't unzip it. Keep it as a .apk file. Copy that file directly to you sd card for your phone. You will need to install from market an app called installler. once you have the file on your sd card, open up installer and it should find the apk file on the sd card and all you have to do after that is hit the button, hit install, and it should load. It shows up with the rest of your apps and as soon as you open it and press the clear frequent call list, the list is go as gone. I love this guy Roys for making that program. Whoever thought that frequent call list that you had no way of deleting would be helpful was a moron.

unfortunately you cannot clear market searches unless you root (or hard reset your phone)
