How do you COMPLETELY remove an application so it doesn't remember you?

I downloaded some game app and I messed it up. I uninstalled it, thinking I could uninstall it and it would restart. Instead, when I uninstalled and then reinstalled it remembered all of my previous game. I tried deleting the cache and data but that didn't work. What can I do?

Perhaps the app is leaving data on the SD Card?

You need to figure out where it might have stored some info on the SD Card and delete those file.

Welcome to the Forums.

If all you want to do is restart an app without any configuration go to menu>settings>applications>manage applications and tap on the "all" tab. Find the app and tap on it. there you can clear the cache and delete the user data. This is usually enough to set it back to the beginning as if it were freshly installed. If you suspect the app is corrupt and you want to re-install it, still clear data and cache and then tap uninstall as well. Now, before you re-install the app, plug in your phone to a PC and mount as storage. You will be looking for a folder with the app name preceded by a dot (the dot makes it hidden to Android). You may also have to set the PC to display hidden files and folders to see it. Don't worry if you still can't find it, because they may not be one, but if there is, then delete it. Now you can re-install the app as if it had never been present on the phone.

I have the same problem with sketch online. It refuses to forget my profile. I even got it with a different Google account. For a joke, I made my profile picture something really stupid, and there is absolutely no way to change it.

As posted above, many apps leave data on the SD card. (I personally wish the Android uninstaller would ASK me if I want to leave data on the SD card each time I uninstall, but I digress...)

Check the folders on the SD card. Make sure you backup anything before you delete it, just in case.

Well, I tried to delete the save data and cache. That didn't work. I don't know how to connect my phone to my laptop either. Is there any other way?

I'm not sure what the problem with connecting to a computer is - can you explain what isn't working? Or you could install a file manager/explorer on the phone and set it to show hidden files.

Did you check whether the app had saved anything to sd?

Also, did the app have any cloud syncing capability, in which case it may have data on their server. And do you have the option to back up app data to Google enabled (Settings > Backup and reset)?
