How Do you copy applications from Computer?

Solution: Install Astro File Manager from the Market

Hello,

I have a HTC G1 and I have an android application on a CD that I need to install onto the G1

I was able to copy it from the CD to the SD card in the G1 but I'm stuck there.

I see no way to copy it TO the G1 desktop so that I can run it nor do I see a way to run it FROM the SD card.
