how do you make the keyboard keys light up when typing???

how do you make the keyboard keys light up when typing???
i had it at one time when you touch a key on the keyboard it would light blue
now i cant get it to do it anymore

You probably had Swype installed.

There is NO other method of turning the standard touchscreen keys blue.

but they will turn green if you hold them down (which of course is the same as using the shift function).

i had the wrong swype installed
swype lite is the one that lights the buttons
