I wish to preload Colorado on my SD card so that when I go out of cell range, Google maps can still display roads etc with satellite location instead of a white blank. Is this possible, or does it cost $$$$$$
There is a app on the market called "My Maps Editor" or some such. It allows you to access maps you created online from your Google account. Go to Google Maps (Google Maps) on your PC and make whatever map you need. Interestingly you can also upload KML files into Google Maps.
