Help How do you rename a media file?

jkayeh

Lurker
Just recently had a friend text message me a ringtone as an attachment. Saved it to my song list in the "My Music" app. Set it as my ringtone. But the media file on the song list is saved as just random numbers as the title of the song. Is there any way to change the name of the file/song into something recognizable?

I have checked all the menus and options on multiple screens in both the music app and in the message app, as well as the ringtone page. Haven't found any that say rename file or save as.

The file is an mp3. I am new to the RAZR.

You need a file explorer such as es file explorer or astro.

darn I was hoping it was something more simple and not downloading any apps. But I appreciate the help and I'll do that soon. Thanks
