Help how do you rename photos? moto g 2014

How do you rename your pics? Just took one and tried to rename it but cant find an option too. If I go to gallery, select the pic, touch to open icons at top of screen, theres no rename option....only details, edit effects, delete....no rename option!

You can use a file explorer to rename the pictures, just navigate to their location on your phone, select one, and rename. If you took the pics with your phone they're usually in a DCIM folder.
