how do you ROLL BACK UPDATE

I forced updated my phone 2 days ago and everything is fine except the phone signal. i have noticed a drop in signal strength in many areas and its really annoying. sometimes turning the phone off then on again solves it. its as if it cant lock onto a signal.
how do i restore it back to the previous firmware.

is anyone else having this problem

I had a similar problem. I went from full 3g bars to no signal. I also had a problem where it started to run very slow and ate my battery fast. I fixed it by powering down my phone after the first reboot (post update). It did something strange...trackball light flashed for amin and i was unable to turn it back on for a few minutes. I was afraid it was bricked but about 5 min later i turned it on and Now my battery only goes down 40% in 9 hours( was near dead after 9 hours before) and i get 3 3g bars in my apartment (was 1 to none). So i say try turning it on and off a few times and see if that changes it.
