Help How do you secure your S4?

What security measures/aps do you use to keep your phone private? PIN screen lock, password, security aps, etc?

I'm very curious about this subject, as even though I've never had a phone lost or stolen, I've been thinking about phone security a lot lately. Looking for ideas.

I use a password and have it lock in a few seconds, Sometimes that short time is a PIA but at least I know it is locked if I leave it unattended for a bit.

Pattern passcode (used to use a PIN, but found that to be too cumbersome if I needed to get into the phone while driving) and Lookout for remote bricking of phone if necessary.

No password or lockscreen or other security measures. I just keep it on my belt clip, in my hand or on my desk at home. If someone steals it off my belt, I can do a remote wipe through Android Device Manager.

I use Swype keyboard and a password that has been added to the Swype dictionary. It's the convenience of pattern lock and I'd like to think it's the security of a password.

I've always used a PIN. With all the personal info we store these days any type of lock is a must.

I use a Pattern lockscreen, locks after 30secs.

What I really want is an applock built-in to Android, that would help a lot, the applock apps in PlayStore are rubbish, they suck up battery through polling and some have adverts, very annoying.

I don't have an s4 but I have an s3 and I use the pattern lock on the lock screen. I'm not sure if I want to put a lick on my files. Probably should do that haha

Yeah, crazy people. Back when I used to trade around devices to try out different phones I would do a complete factory reset on my device before trading. Often times I'd get the person's phone and there would be personal info like home address, their work info/email etc all right there for me to see. I'm not deviant so I obviously did a wipe on the phone before I finished ally used it. Some people care (like me) and others don't. Weird
