how do you start to advertise on the interenet???

my friend and I are starting a new Tax Service center...
we will open in 2 weeks....


how do I get the company info out on all the internet search sites??? what is the best procedure???

I want it to show up on map searches.. ex: google maps.
how do i do that too???

I know you can add it to Google, by going here.

You can add to several search engines for free. But you would have to go through and do each one. If you are willing to spend some money, there are sites that will submit it for you to pretty much any widely used search engine.

No problem, I have run several sites in the past, and it can be a pain advertising your business. :/

looks like we are still having issues getting our website up...

but how do I make sure that search engines find the business location and service.
I want to make sure... when a person does a search for "tax service" or "attorney" etc.. our company NAME and ADDRESS will come up for customers in my general area.
