How do you sync music & especially playlists with PC?

I use (the free) MediaMonkey for Windows (MMW) on my PC and (the free) MediaMonkey for Android (MMA) on my phone because it's the only TOTAL PC-Android solution that I know of which can easily sync my music, videos, & podcasts (user-specified folders only) and playlists between my PC & Android devices. That's important to me because it's far easier to manage my music & create playlists on my PC (since it has a big screen, mouse, keyboard, etc).

But periodically, somebody comes here and asks "What's the best music player?" Many people (like me) respond with their favorite music player, like PowerAmp, or RocketPlayer. But to my knowledge none of those players enable a total (iTunes-like) sync solution-- especially for playlists. Google Play Music let's you create playlists on your PC, but it's like torture to create playlists with their web-interface (and it's not a good PC player app).

So I'm curious... How people sync playlists (and media files) with their PCs? Or do people just not care about syncing music and playlists? Maybe they do all their playlist creation on the phone? I feel like I might be missing something.

Based on my experience, it doesn't matter what music player I use, they still see the playlists I made on my PC and sync to the phone (via MusicBee). I've tried the Samsung Music Player, Google Play Music (using local storage), Player Pro, PowerAmp (although this one needs to manually activate import playlists function). As soon as sync is finished and look at the music player on my phone, all my playlists are there.
