How do you "tether" 10.1 to Galaxy S2 ?

Hi Guys,

I own a Galaxy Tab 10.1, WiFi only.

90% of the time I use it at home via my home WiFi.

However, sometimes when out and about I would like to be able to connect to the internet when there is no WiFi available, like in the office without connecting to the corporate WiFi.

How do I connect it through my Galaxy S2 phone?
Please understand, I am completely non-techy so need simple (dummy!) instructions!

And PLEASE don't say "you should have bought the Tab 10.1 3G"! It was too expensive at the time!

These are the menu options on the Android 4.0 (ICS) Should be pretty similar for previous operating systems...

On your phone click on settings, then click "More..." (fourth option down). Then click on "Tethering and portable hotspot" and tick Portable Wi-Fi hotspot, you can configure it to give it a name and password so that other people can't connect to it and use up all of your phone's data allowance.

On your Tab search for new wifi networks and you should be able to see the one you have just set up on your phone. Connect to it with the password you set up and away you go!
