Help How do you turn off the Google Now PopUps?

So if I am reading a book or running any app in full screen mode, I keep getting Google weather pop-ups from Google Now. Does anyone know how to turn these pop-ups off?

I use App Quarantine form Google Market. Not sure if you need root or not.
