Help How do you turn that pop up ms cloud shite off!!!!!

hes on about sometimes when you come onto the site there is a MS advert at the bottom - you have to click the X in the corner to get rid

If you're viewing on your phone, try using the Phandroid app free from market, it's perfect for the forum and no adds. If you are viewing on your pc, try Firefox with abp (ad blocker plus) installed, this should block it. That's what I use a and i haven't seen it.
 
it does not come up everytime.....and its not like a normal "pop up" as its not another window that comes up

ive seen it about 4 times in the last week....and i pop on about 8 times a day - so its no really a big deal to me

everytime there has been an X in the corner...gets rid of it - simples

Since I have never seen it I'd have to say this works!
 
I had the big pop up for a while that had an X in the corner, I now just get the banner at the bottom. I wonder if it 'knows' how many times you have had to view the biggun and then goes to the small version. Not seen an X on that tho. I just navigate away from it to another page and it goes most of the time.

I guess its a revenue stream for the site as its free to users they gotta cover their cost one way or another.
 
i get it daily, usually a few times.
i find really, really annoying (to put it politely).
