Help How do you upload photos from SGS2 to an iMac (Lion OS)?

I am trying to upload my photos from a SGS2 to an iMac (Lion OS). On the iPhoto screen, it shows that my phone is connected, but no contents are shown--no photos or files of any kind. I also have a LG Optimus phone and it works fine with the iMac. Can anyone help?

You can always use drop box.

I have MBA w/Lion and I just turn on usb connection go to files and look in DCIM folder and drag and drop them on my desktop, I also use Aperture and it connects and shows them asking me to import
