The camera sensor contributes a whole lot to the price of the phone. can make all the difference between 5 mp cheap less than $100 camera and a 700 dollar samsung galaxy s6. so my question is if a camera claims to have a sony sensor , how do I verify this & the the manufacturer is not lying . One way of doing this that did not really bring any results was to look under proc . But I could not find any information that would suggest my camera has a Sony IMX 215 13mp sensor. I am using a Jiayu s3 .
