Has anyone used it long-term? What's the impact to battery life?

I personally can recommend you AVG better..being with it long term..and it just shows up when it's needed..

Also give CCleaner a good try too, it really works both for the comp and for the phone, been a strong believer in CCleaner for many years now.
sincerily it works every way but when you try to uninstall... well that is another story, principly when you give adminstrator permisson to work well but when you try to remove it want let you. But far way its the best apk ever.
I have used it in the past for its security features. I've never had any problem removing it though (changes to the way Android handles SMS weakened the security features, and the app became more intrusive, so I just untick admin access and uninstalled, end of story).
fun part it want let you do that, the apk have some protocol for your protection, so because of that it blocks your command, but if you go to filemanager and delete the files where is avast and reboot the phone it let you antach and the uninstall
Glad you managed to get rid of it, but I never needed to do anything like that.
