How fast is your 4g?

This the highest speed i ever got on my samsung galaxy attain 4g but i have a strong feeling i could get up to atleast 5mbs :)

1.2-1.6 mbps with spikes at 2.0 via speedtest.net

Actual download speeds are about 250-600kbps though based on true download times.

That's about the same here (North FL) not very impressive for 4g & has nothing on the other carriers, but beats the hell outta 1x & streams all my video & goog music fine, so can't complain too much, considering i'm practically paying half of what I was on Sprint...
 
Metros 4g network is mainly for.the big.metropolitan areas, Im in tampa amd.it hits 3 to up too 5mbps depending on what street I am on and thats an average, i lt tha tlike it the way it is because reablly u dont eeed that 26mbps on ur phone since about.all.of the things u download on any phone wont taje up alot of data

Not true. I download roms for multiple phones and all drivers and recovery and all the goodies with my data connection. Though sometimes I do use Starbucks or other wifi if I'm near it.

Check my rediculous (sp) slow connecting in homestead FL on a Miami based server. Last one is my highest ever recorded in Cutler ridge, a couple miles north.

Mine is ridiculously slow, as well...and I am in the Miami area too...and the speedtest.net app's closest server to test with is Birmingham, AL...LOL, none in in FLA. WTF!?

Actually the top three are from a server in Miami but I get better speeds on the Tampa server.
Miami is just swamped as far as I can tell.

It won't give me the option for Miami, SoFla, or even Florida servers at all...the closest is Alabama...they have hundreds of servers in the Midwest though...
 
Here is my latest batch of tests. The 4+ mbps tests are after modifying build.prop. I have almost doubled my speed by altering 2 numbers. The slower tests in between are the times I reverted back to verify the speed change.

I will be posting a new thread in the root section on what to tweak to improve speeds. I also believe I finally fixed everyone's 4g issues for good :-D
 
Mines pretty fast, Went on a blunt ride last night,And had my phone with me ofc. And once i hit pawtucket, Godd. It was like i was getting over 6mbps but i was really getting 5.5mbp DN, 3.2mbp UP.. Nice speed,
