How I got my GPS to finally work...

...I returned it for a new one. First one w/non-working GPS was born on 7.22.10, this one was born on 7.8.10.

Go figure.

its seems as gps is a hit and miss issue. i posted the other day how i got from disneyland back home (1 1/2 hr drive) with the gps fully working. the next day i couldn't get a lock on my position. This morning i had a lock and this as im typing this reply i couldn't get a lock. So the gps issue is whenever it feels like it.

it is definately very hit and miss , at home i cant get any gps lock but i did some errands today all over town , and got locks in 5 seconds or less. and GPS worked wherever i went so ...

Now it seems like I only get a lock when Im driving after a couple of minutes and the accuracy is hit or miss.

When my gps is having trouble locking, I delete the gps data in the lbstestmode thing - seems to clear it right up.
