Help How in the world do i connect to my wireless network?

OR Droid

Newbie
So i am smart enough to set up the network. My wife is smart enough to connect the tv to the network along with her phone which is a HTC Thunderbolt. But both of us cannot figure out my phone. A bit irritated at this point.
It is a pass word protected network, but she figured a work around as my stupid brain cannot remember the password.
Motorola Droid Razr maxx. Nothing fancy just want to use the wi-fi connection. I see my neighbors networks with the phone but just cannot connect to mine.
Please help!
TIA.

Sounds to me like your WAP (wireless access point) is NOT broadcasting the "SSID" of your wireless network ... thus your RAZR can't "see" the network. The easiest thing to do would be to just reset the WAP (perhaps a router w/ WAP builtin) and start over, since you've forgotten the password anyway. There will be a reset button on the thing somewhere ... on the back or bottom.

It sees the network.
I will try resetting and creating a new password.
It does say the network is WEP protected. Her phone and the TV connect via WPS settings. So can i switch how my phone connects?
It is a netgear wnr2000 router if that helps at all.
