How is the quality of the camera?

I have a Note3 and hate the camera. Without perfect lighting, my photos end up blurry, soft and out of focus. I'm thinking of getting the Note4 and read that it uses an improved version of the S5 camera. How is the quality of the S5 camera? Does anyone have experience with both the Note3 and S5 that can comment on the camera?

Thanks

i dont have experience with both devices, but i can say the quality of the camera is superb compared to many phones available today.. just my opinion though ;)

Compared to my Galaxy S camera which was only 2 mPixel, this camera is fantastic.

In fact, it does as good, or even better than my Sony 7 mPixel DSLR that is about 6 years old. and that camera has variable optics so the 7 mPixels is available even in full zoom.

The S5's camera can do just about as good a job bringing up stuff that is over a half mile away. not quite as good as variable optics, but good enough that the naked eye will never see the difference unless you view the image and expand it a bunch.

My only complaint really is the lag time between 'click' and "snap the picture".
to me, it is about 2 or 3 seconds in poor light conditions.

Bright sunlight? 'click', 'snap' and it is done.
