How is there no update yet?

And that is why I switched to Sprint with unlimited data. Verizon is always late in updates and they have horrible customer service.

Mines been updated to Jelly Bean and I'm on Ting and I've heard Samsung has released the package for 4.1.2. Not only they just announced that they will be releasing set of updates they are calling a "premium suite" to enhance and add features to the S3.

That said. The truth is most people don't really care about updates, long as the phone works they are good. Most people spend any time worrying about it. So that is why updates are not really a priority.

Well, the international unbranded S3 got the update to JB since long ago. American variants a different, so it sure takes longer. That's the way it is. Mine is at 4.1.1 as of now, and pretty soon we'll be getting 4.1.2 though I'll be flashing a custom ROM anyway.
