How is your voicemail outgoing message sound quality?

I've been struggling just recording my outgoing voicemail message. It's full of static, and the first few seconds the sound keeps going in and out. Sounds like I'm on a highway with a bad phone connection, even though I'm standing in my house with 2 or 3 bars.

I even tried calling in from a landline to record the message. I was surprised to find it still sounds like sh*t even then.

Does anyone else have quality issues with their outgoing voicemail message? Any workarounds?

Hate to say it but, Yes the quality of the outgoing message is pretty poor.

I was using the standard default greeting, but decided to test it and set my own to see how it sounds. The sound quality on my greeting sounds pretty awesome... no crackles, hisses, or pops. Just nice a clear.

This may be due to the custom rom I'm using.
