How large of memory card for Thrive 10 inch 8gb?

Does the 8bg Thrive accept large memory cards? Like over 100gb?

I'm wanting to buy a Toshiba Thrive 10 in. The 8gb is about 100.00 less than the 16 gb. (on QVC) My question is, what's the reason why someone would want to buy the 16gb when the 8gb is cheaper? I mean, can't you just put a 32 or 132gb memory card in it?

Another question, say I have 5 movies on a memory card. Can I play those directly from the card or do I have to upload the movies to the tablet in order to play them?

Those are some great questions. I'm in the process of Buying the Thrive myself and wonder why pay the extra for the 16Gb. I found it for 332 but I can get the 8Gb for 279

Yes you can play movies directly from the SD card one. I bought the 32GB Thrive and I'm glad I did. Currently I am unable to move any apps to my SD card. Maybe that will change with the update but it's something to consider

8GB should be just fine. I for one will not have 8GB worth of apps. You can also use a 128GB sd.
